How to make HTML/Web layouts in Photoshop?

I've downloaded some templates on the net and it's in psd file.. how do i convert it to html? and how could I make an HTML/web layout in photoshop like the one i got on the net? I believe psd file is a normal standard file for templates?



is there any easy tutorial on how to do this?

PSD is the file format for Photoshop documents. They are usually converted to jpg or gif when used in a website.



Websites are usually designed in HTML. You need an HTML editor to make your website. I would recommend finding templates in HTML and using an editor to modify the template.



(There is a great free editor called Nvu.)
